* ( www.yagou.gr) is a Greek design researcher and teacher, publishing and lecturing internationally on a regular basis. She is deputy course leader of the MA in Design, AKTO art and design (private college, Athens) and a member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Design History. Her current research interests include the uses of nationalism in design; design education; the history of dress; as well as design in the context of the history of technology.
